Viewing Grant Proposal: Detroit Skating Club-Rooftop Solar

Detroit Skating Club has the roof space to support a large solar installation. The proposed installation could produce 1,272,000 kWh hours per year, reducing DSC’s electricity consumption by 40%. That installation would allow DSC to significantly reduce its carbon footprint by converting to a renewable source of electricity. The project would potentially reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 900 metric tons per year. DSC seeks a partial grant to help fund the design and installation of a solar electric system which would allow DSC to use renewable energy and significantly reduce its CO2 emissions. The total cost of the project is $2,517, 900. DSC seeks a grant of $500,000.
