Viewing Grant Proposal: NextEnergy-Appliances HVAC Energy Storage Integration-EV Charging-Mobile Solar

NextEnergy operates the Urban Tech Xchange and Detroit Smart Parking Laboratory as demonstration, training, and education centers for renewable energy and electrification technologies for residential and commercial applications. Within this project, NextEnergy will work with companies to test and demonstrate commercially available appliances and HVAC systems with integrated energy storage, battery dominate stationary and mobile EV charging systems, and prefabricated mobile structures powered by solar and storage to accelerate the growth of residential and commercial building electrification, EV charging, and emergency services. Upon completion of demonstrations, the technologies will be deployed within Detroit, Flint, Dearborn, and Marquette.
