Viewing Grant Proposal: North End Woodward Community Coaltion-Community Solar Trust

NEWCC is creating a Community Solar Trust (CST) in North End Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park to help LMI households combat rising energy costs. We install solar systems at hub sites via rental agreements, the revenue from which is reinvested into the community. Households below 80% AMI receive monthly checks from the CST to offset the cost of their energy bills. We seek funds to develop two sites, increasing access to solar energy and reducing energy burden in our low-income community.
