Viewing Grant Proposal: Solartonic-Solar Smart Poles

Solartonic, a Ypsilanti solar smart pole manufacturer is requesting $500,000 to deploy 20 additional solar smart poles with LED lighting and free public WiFi on Highland Park residential streets. This project will expand the scope and impact of the current RE-EIED funding Solartonic is utilizing to install 50 solar smart poles on Highland Park residential streets by mid-2026, with an emphasis on less densely populated areas of the City.
