Viewing Grant Proposal: The New Foster Care-Solar Green Roof with EMS and Battery System

The New Foster Care is seeking funding to add a solar green roof with EMS and battery system to Hope Apartment-an adaptive reuse project that will create 230 affordable housing units and serve as a community center in distressed area of Southfield. A solar green roof will provide much needed electrical infrastructure, reduce the urban heat island effect, reduce stormwater runoff, and increase neighborhood placemaking.
