Viewing Grant Proposal: Wayne County-Solar and Battery Generation Planning

Wayne County seeks to be a leader in decarbonization efforts by working with Michigan-based companies to support and equip its most vulnerable and local communities in achieving energy efficiency goals incorporating technical, financial, and sustainability considerations for solar and resiliency implementation. The project will be vital to building the County’s pipeline to building identification, vendors, suppliers, and financiers for future energy projects. This study will investigate opportunities to deploy solar charging capacity and back-up battery generation to realize renewable energy projects in energy-burdened communities.
