Viewing Grant Proposal: Walker Miller-Net Zero Energy Building and Climate Resilience Hub

Walker-Miller Energy Services (W-M), located in Detroit, Michigan (48202), proposes to develop its headquarters into both a net zero energy building and a climate resilience hub. The planned hub would be able to provide 72 hours of uninterrupted power for lifesaving medical devices, food storage and preparation, and shelter for the local community. In pursuit of these dual, integrated goals, W-M is seeking to utilize the MPSC grant to help pay for eligible costs related to this project, which include a rooftop and canopy solar system and two public facing EV fast-charging stations.
