Viewing Grant Proposal: Universalist Unitarian Church of Farmington-Solar Array

The solar Array #2 at Universalist Unitarian Church of Farmington will be a 8.5 Kilowatt system with 16 panels of 535 Watts each panel. There will be more production than the startup project- made by church congregants in latter part of 2021 (operational in 2022). Array # 1 had 16 panels at 385 watts as a system size of 6.1 kw and a 5 kw Solar Edge inverter. Array # 2 will provide approximately 30% more of the electrical energy used by the Church bringing the total to 60% renewable energy. The design, construction and electrical installation will be a turnkey basis, just like Array #1 was. The site plan is to place the second array to the north of the parking lot, not obstructing traffic or view. This ground mounted system can be connected to the already existing underground electrical lines that now provide DC current to the church. building.
