Viewing Grant Proposal: City of Escanaba-Bay de Noc Solar Park

This Bay de Noc Shoreline Solar Park project will be a 2.5MWdc (2MWac) solar array within the City of Escanaba’s Electric Department service territory on a brownfield site, formerly a BP fuel storage facility. The site has limited development options and is currently vacant. Located within city limits, this project enhances the visibility of renewable energy. The project supports Michigan’s Clean Energy Law, reduces the city’s carbon footprint, and will allow improvement on unutilized property.
